Happy Fathers Day

It’s June 20th which means its Fathers Day. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there & especially to my very special Dad. Last year I brought my dad membership to DW Sport Gym near to where we live. He has been going for a year now and really enjoys it. The gym is really nice and there is the added bonus of a gorgeous swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room
I thought of maybe getting my dad a gps for Geocaching, but he seems to be so busy at the moment that I’m not sure that he would get much time to use it.

Big Brother, World Cup and the Weekend.

In comparison to The World Cup 2010 and Englands poor performance last night Big Brother was actually quite good. Last night Rachael aka Beyonce lookalike was revealed as the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house. I really wanted Shabby to go as I can’t stand her attitude and she is just so god dam ugly. Sunshine is just as annoying as Shabby but I think that if she stays in the house it could make it more interesting.

Today I’ve been to the gym with my mum and then just been chilling out. I was really hoping that the weather was going to be nice this weekend so that I could catch up on some sunbathing and geocaching.

Monday’s are my day off, which normally means catching up on washing, ironing and cleaning. All a bit dull really. I decided to break up my boredom by watching a bit of come dine with me whilst i was doing the ironing. It was a celebrity edition with Jon Ansell from G4 and Harvey from So Solid Crew. I wish I was able to cook food as good as them 2 did, they were pretty good.
So after a few episodes of Come dine with me, I had finished my pile of ironing.
I’ve been meaning to sign up for LoveFilm for ages now but just haven’t got around to it and was waiting to see if any promotion codes come up. I managed to find a 90 day trial for 2 discs at a time so will give that a go and see how I get on. There are plenty of films/dvds/games that I want to rent out but its just finding the time to sit down and watch them that’s the problem, especially since Big Brother has started.
I watched Big Brother last night and was so pleased that The Mole had passed his secret missions and is now allowed to stay in the house as a housemate. I was kinda hoping that Sunshine would be voted out as everyone thought that she was the mole. She is just sooo nosey it really frustrates me, and whats with the stupid colour lip stick? Oh well it will soon be time for the housemates to nominate so hopefully she will get evicted soon.
Now I’ve done a far bit of cleaning I need to decide what to do for my dinner tonight…

So the weekend is nearly over already. I got to try out my new BBQ from Homebase yesterday and then spent yesterday evening watching a rather dissapointing England match (no surprises there). Today I managed to nip out before work to grab a quick geocache that I’ve been meaning to do.

The start of The World Cup 2010 … & Big Brother 11

June is going to be a busy month for me and my TV. First there is Big Brother 11 to watch and then there is The World Cup. I was a bit sceptical about watching Big Brother this year as I have felt that previous years haven’t been that great. This year certainly seems to have a few “different” types of people in it but not too many weirdos. My favourite housemate at the moment is “The Mole” and I loved his task of putting all the food into the swimming pool whilst the other housemates were asleep. I just hope that the series carries on as it has begun.
The World Cup, well where do I start, I’d really like to see England to do well but I can’t help but think it will be a replay of previous years where we mess up or lose out on penalties. Oh well time will tell.

DUBAI – I’m in love :)

I’ve just returned from an amazing holiday in Dubai which was for my Brothers 21st Birthday present. We flew out from London Heathrow airport and once in Dubai stayed at the Hilton Jumeriah Beach. I would recommend the hotel 110% as it exceeded my expectations.
